The disco music genre spawned its own fashion craze in the mid-late 1970s. Young people gathered in nightclubs dressed in disco attire that was designed to show off the body and shine under dance floor lights. I wanted to put my own modern spin to this concept with an infusion of expression of sexuality, civil rights era, Black Lives Matter but with a positive and upbeat feel good mood. Hopefully this gives you a better perspective and feel for the entire concept.
